Nick Mossman is a politics and data reporter with experience running publications, local reporting and covering news in print, video and social media formats. He is currently an M.S. in Data Journalism student at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

He previously received a B.A. with a triple major in Journalism, Political Science and Latin American, Latino & Iberian Studies from the University of Richmond. He is the former Editor-in-chief of the student newspaper at UR, The Collegian. He is also founder of the Carver Journal, a local news startup in Carver, Mass., a news desert.

In his previous roles, Mossman managed outlets' coverage of both local and national elections. He has also regularly covered local news. In Summer 2026, he worked full time as a reporter for Wareham Week, a hyperlocal newspaper in South Coast Massachusetts.
